
The project partner Ruhr-University Bochum, represented by the Chair of Computer Science in Construction, participated in the „Data Spaces for Construction“ event at Eindhoven University of Technology on 21 May 2026. The event brought together international experts from research projects on the topics of Data Spaces, Smart Buildings, and Circularity.
Markus König gave a keynote lecture on „Managing Digital Material and Product Passports in Sovereign Data Spaces“, presenting approaches and results from the research project.
In the subsequent workshop „Data and Interoperability in Construction Data Spaces“, Philipp Hagedorn discussed current challenges and potential solutions for interoperable data spaces in the construction industry with around 20 participants.
The exchange with experts from the WILSON and Upscale projects provided valuable impetus and practical experience for the further implementation of the research project.
